How does Microdermabrasion work?
Microdermabrasion is a safe and effective method of deeply exfoliating the skin through a closed vacuum system delivering aluminum oxide crystals to the skin. This process exfoliates the thickened epidermis and then vacuums away the crystals and skin debris to reveal healthier skin. How often should I have a Microdermabrasion Treatment?
Microdermabrasion requires a series of treatments (visits). While you will love the results you get after just one treatment, it is unrealistic to expect significant results from just one visit. Remember we are taking off about 3 layers of skin and there can be damage further down. Cumulative results can be significant with as few as six treatments repeated one to three weeks apart. Monthly maintenance treatments are recommended. We have many clients now that come in every other month and rely on a specific professional skin product procedure at home to keep up on the exfoliation process. Express Microdermabrasion Session – 1/2 Hour Lunchtime Session:
Great for quicks results after you have had a thorough session. Please consider the Hour Long Microderm session first before having the Express:
Regular Microdermabrasion Session:
Includes 2 extra mask applications. A thorough initial microdermabrasion is a great start. Conside the Express only after completing an hour long session.
MicroFacial Session:
A thorough microdermabrasion with a relaxing facial to follow including arm, hand, shoulder, neck, scalp and foot massage! The best of both worlds!
Back Area Microdermabrasion Session:
Large area microdermabrasion is possible! This can make a huge difference in clearing up your back from acne scarring, etc. We have seen an increase in the number of brides or people wearing low back dresses use this service. Consider a Back Microdermabrasion session if you are wearing any revealing clothing. Smooth and sexy is the way to go! Back Microderabrasion for acne or deep exfoliation:
Acne can affect the face, chest and back. Acne on the back is often referred to as back acne. Back acne can be embarrassing and painful. Like acne on the face, acne on the back is caused by excess sebum or dirt that clogs pores, causing painful lesions known as acne. Microderabrasion will help unclog the pores and help aid in scar removal.
Dermal Resurfacing with ESP
Dermal Resurfacing; also known as dermaplaning, is a procedure unique to a medical spa since it requires the use of a scalpel. Your aesthetician gently ablates the surface of the skin with the scalpel to rid the face of dull, dry surface skin along with the fine vellus hair. After the dermal resurfacing, 1-2 layers of ESP will be applied and massaged into the skin until the product and any remaining dead skin rubs off.
