Microblading and Permanent Makeup in Fort Collins

Digital Microblading Permanent Makeup

Digital Microblading

Xanadu creates natural looking semi-permanent eyebrows utilizing different techniques; including eyebrow microblading, shading, and hair-strokes using a digital cosmetic tattoo machine.

Lip Blushing and lip liner

Lip Liner and Lip Blushing

A natural appearing permanent cosmetic lip liner or full lip color can be applied to give more definition and correct uneven lips, which will result in a fuller appearance.

Ombre Brows

Ombre (also known as powder brows) is a more defined eyebrow look than you get with microblading. It looks less natural than microblading but will complement your makeup and give you the look of perfectly shaped eyebrows.

Permanent Eyeliner

Semi-Permanent Eyeliner

Permanent eyeliner can be applied very subtle as an eyelash enhancement, or more dramatically, above the lash line and flared out to give the eye a nice almond shape.

What's The Difference?

How Is Digital Microblading Different from Traditional Microblading?

This digital hair stroke technique causes less bruising and bleeding, making it much less traumatic to the skin than microblading. It can also save you precious time because it is a shorter procedure than microblading. Using this digital technique (which uses tiny 1 point needles or nanoneedles) allows for a more effective ability to add depth and strength. Various results may be achieved, from very dramatic looks to simple looks that mimic the look of makeup or individual hair strokes for a subtler more natural look. Finally, digital hair stroke brows tend to retain pigment and last longer in the skin than microblading.

What is Permanent Makeup?

From Wikipedia:

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eyelining and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the facelips, and eyelids. It is also used to produce artificial eyebrows, particularly in people who have lost them as a consequence of old age, disease, such as alopecia totalischemotherapy, or a genetic disturbance, and to disguise scars and white spots in the skin such as in vitiligo. It is also used to restore or enhance the breast’s areola, such as after breast surgery.

Most commonly called permanent cosmetics, other names include dermapigmentationmicropigmentation, and cosmetic tattooing,[1] the latter being most appropriate since permanent makeup is applied under sterile conditions similar to that of a tattoo.[2] In the United States the inks used in permanent makeup are subject to approval as cosmetics by the Food and Drug Administration.
