Pre-Treatment Instructions
If you want to ensure your appointment goes smoothly, follow these pre-care instructions.
Stop These Medications
Stop taking monocycline, doxycycline, and other medication that cause photosensitivity 3 days before your appointment.
No Tanning
Do not use tanning beds or tanning lotions for a month before your appointment, and wear a minimum of SPF 30 sunscreen when outside. We also suggest not undergoing any deep peels during this time.
Antivirals
If you have a history of shingles or herpes, we ask that you take antiviral medication 2 days before your appointment to prevent a breakout.
Post-Treatment Instructions
